I've got a lot to learn...

The good news: I've lost 20 pounds during the last 3 months. I've been doing it through intermittent fasting, which if you're not familiar, is absolutely life-changing. Twice a week, I go at least 36 hours without eating, and the other days I usually go 18 or so. It's been great not only for my waistline, but my overall health, and (I'm assuming) blood pressure, immune system, etc. I've read the literature on this, and it's pretty conclusive, and supported by my own experience.
The bad news: Doing the intermittent fasting ("IF", for those in the know) has lead me to a lot of other speculation into marginal scientific research about health choices, the body-mind connection, and has begun to snowball into some serious doubts about the nature of the universe. I've been reading (ok, listening to audiobooks) on some of the leading researchers in quantum theory and its relationship to consciousness and energy. Study enough about current studies in quantum entanglement, agnosia, meditation experiments to heal brain trauma, and pretty soon you start to doubt whether anything exists at all. Check out this great interview with Annaka Harris, author of a pretty good book about this called “Conscious: A Brief Guide to the Fundamental Mystery of the Mind”
The good news, again: One of the really great things about this kind of speculation and study has been that it really reinforces my Christian worldview. Jesus himself recommended going to a quiet place to meditate on the daily (though I personally feel he did it just to take a breather from Peter and the smell of fish) and I think he, in his manifestation in the world, made it clear that a tiny "quantum" amount of faith can move a mountain.
If you're feeling burnt out about current events and politics (who isn't) I highly recommend checking out Harris' book, as well as Joe Dispenza's "You are the Placebo," And if you put on the COVID-19 pounds like I did, I highly recommend looking into intermittent fasting, too!
But then, what the Bleep do I know?

The best is with food also considered fasting. Bread and water. Not doughnut or sweet or salty breads but straight simple bread.
Very cool! When I get to Heaven, Quantum Entanglement is on my short list of things I will ask about. 😉
Interesting 🤨... but with all the twirling of those different dimensions, I still stick to my FAITH 🙌🏻 And i believe if you didn’t start practicing it at a young age , you’re in trouble now, meaning accumulated sins leading to dark side of your journey. I prefer to pray in SECRET because I know HE will understand me more. HE created the UNIVERSE and I know HE will not REST on the SEVENTH DAY if HE saw some DISPARITIES on HIS creation ... 😇
Interesting 🤔
